Hillary Clinton Tries to Take Credit for #MeToo

At any bar in America on a Friday night, you can see an old rocker who used to be big in the 80s. Even though they are way past their prime, in their senile minds, you get the feeling they still think they matter. That’s who Hillary Clinton is. She’s basically the bass player from Winger playing Zito’s Crab Shack. Only instead of reliving the glory days, she keeps reliving her humiliating 2016 defeat. Blaming everyone she can.
Though during this week’s performance, she sounded like she was taking credit for #MeToo. Yes, the same Hillary who is a close confidant of Harvey Weinstein. And married to alleged rapist Bill Clinton. Her losing to Trump is the real reason for #MeToo.
Hillary Clinton has taken credit for ‘accelerating’ the #MeToo movement, despite her close and longtime ties to disgraced movie mogul Harvey Weinstein, whose downfall triggered the cultural reckoning.
Clinton’s remarks were caught on video at the Manhattan women’s club The Wing on Tuesday night, where she continued to cast blame over her loss in the 2016 presidential election.
Someone at the talk asked: ‘In an alternative reality, if you were president today in 2018, do you think the #MeToo movement would’ve still happened?’
‘I believe that it was a wave that was building and building and building,’ Clinton responded. ‘I think my losing probably accelerated that wave, but the wave was coming.’
It’s not like Madam Cankles is the first to try and give herself credit for #MeToo. Though I can think of a few who think she is less the effect. More the cause:
Let’s be real here. The only time #MeToo is used in a conversation about Hillary Clinton is in response to someone saying, “I wish she would go away.”
