Clinton responded quickly to the breaking news of the shooting on Twitter, urging "we must take action to stop gun violence" and stating she "refuses to accept this as normal". Hillary remains a firm stand on pushing the need for stricter gun control in light of the latest in a long string of mass shootings. Clinton was speaking about the need for gun control at a campaign stop in Florida when the attack on Inland Regional Services in San Bernardino, California started to unfold on Wednesday afternoon, according to ABC News' Liz Kreutz. Clinton told her supporters it is time to stand up to the gun lobby and spoke of common sense solutions to gun violence.

  1. Hmm... It's hard to say as to what this could do for or against her campaign, but at least she's really trying to drive her point home and prove her strong stance on Gun Control.

  2. I can already predict that Clinton will get hate for this ("politicizing a tragic event"), even though I fail to understand why. The same thing happened when Obama talked about his frustration with current gun laws after the Oregon shooting, and people attacked him for it. I mean, are you supposed to react to these constant shootings by saying that everything is fine and nothing should be changed? If so, then I would rather "politicize a tragic event" than watch more people get killed every month.
